- Telecommunications Regulatory Advisory
- Restrictive Covenant Review
- Voluntary Liquidation Advisory
All services are provided in accordance with Hong Kong law and professional legal standards. The scope of each service engagement is defined in the relevant service agreement or engagement letter.
3. Engagement and Fees
Engagement with Lithic is formalised through a service agreement or engagement letter that specifies:
- The scope of work to be undertaken
- The fixed fee for the service
- Timeline and delivery expectations
- Any specific terms or conditions applicable to the engagement
Payment is due upon invoice unless alternative arrangements are agreed in writing. Late payment may result in suspension of services.
4. Nature of Legal Advice
All advice provided by Lithic is subject to the following:
- Advice is based on information provided to us and current law as of the date of delivery
- Legal advice is not a guarantee of particular outcomes or results
- Advice is confidential and subject to attorney-client privilege
- We do not provide financial, tax, or accounting advice unless explicitly agreed
- You should consult appropriate specialists for non-legal matters
5. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lithic's liability is limited as follows:
- Our total liability for any engagement shall not exceed the fees paid for that engagement
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, or goodwill
- Liability is limited to direct, foreseeable losses arising from our negligence
6. Your Responsibilities
As a client engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide complete and accurate information relevant to your matter
- Inform us of any changes to circumstances or information previously provided
- Act in accordance with our advice and legal requirements
- Make timely decisions regarding your matter
- Pay fees and expenses as agreed
- Maintain confidentiality of our advice and communications
7. Confidentiality and Privilege
All communications with Lithic are confidential and protected by attorney-client privilege. We do not disclose information about your matter without your consent, except where required by law or professional obligations.
You agree not to disclose the contents of our advice or communications without our consent, except to the extent necessary to implement the advice or comply with legal requirements.
8. Termination of Engagement
Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the terms agreed in the engagement letter. Upon termination:
- All fees accrued to the date of termination become immediately due
- We will provide a final account of work undertaken
- We may retain files as permitted by professional rules
- Our advice and communications remain confidential and privileged
9. Website Use
You agree that your use of our website will not:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Contain harmful, defamatory, or abusive content
- Disrupt the normal functioning of the website
- Involve unauthorised access to computer systems
10. Intellectual Property
